The December curse…
The December curse has struck my family again; Wednesday last week my Father-in-law died. Those of you who know us know that December is a bad month for my family with multiple deaths occurring over the years (one on Christmas day) and some seriously debilitating health problems all happening from late November (Thanksgiving on) to New Years day.
My wife and I are both broken up over the death of J.D. (her dad), he was a very strong and very brave man who passed those traits on to his daughter. He served in both the Army and Marines in both Korea and Vietnam, and I, for one, can say that I am a better person for having known him.
Even though he lived in Tennessee and we didn’t get to see him as much as we would have liked we will miss him sorely.
