They come in threes…

On the heels of my last post we have another star being found dead. Unfortunately this is one of the few I liked… Heath Ledger was found dead today. You have to wonder if his grim portrayal of The Joker in the upcoming Dark Knight film played any role. Ledger, evidently, became the part so fully that he had trouble letting go of the role.

Now we begin the grim wait to see who the third will be…

Another one bites the dust!

There are really two options here; either I just don’t get it or I’m a cold hearted bastard…

Yet another over-privileged Hollywood youth has died young and the desperate-for-ratings twenty-four hour news media are treating it like a national tragedy. The latest brainless punk with a silver spoon up his ass to O.D. is Brad Renfro. I know what most of you are saying; “who?,” but, believe me, he really was in a movie or two… Not good ones, mind you.

Here is my problem; whenever we get another one of these arrogant, young Hollywood freak shows who dies (for whatever reason) I don’t see it as a ‘tragedy,’ I see it as a good start. These worthless, shallow, egocentric, self-centered, young celebrities who have more free time than they have IQ points and are constantly coddled by the Southern California legal system just make me want to vomit. So, the more of them that kill themselves off the less the news media can glamorize their disgusting lifestyles.

Now I’m keeping my fingers crossed that Lindsey Lohan, Brittany Spears, Paris Hilton, and Mischa Barton all die in a group suicide plot.
